Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder can help you save disk space by finding and deleting duplicate images.

The program has an intuitive interface, which allows practically anyone to use the program with no difficulty whatsoever. Actually, using the program is rather simple, you just need to select the folders you want to scan and start the search. Instead of just comparing file attributes, this program really compares the pictures visually and even the similarity level can be customized. Thus, you can tell the program to report two images that are 70% alike.

The results are displayed conveniently, because the program lets you compare each set of images and rates the similarity levels among them. However, it does not really help to erase duplicates, because this process needs to be done one by one. Just imagine how tiresome this may turn out, when you need to erase multiple duplicates.

In general, Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder works perfectly as to detecting duplicate images. Unfortunately, it does not support deleting batches of images. In addition, it does not allow saving the results to work on them later.

I followed the directions from two different videos on how to use this program. I cannot drag my photo directory to the search box, I just get the circle with a slash. What am I doing wrong?

Well, no disadvantages isn't true. There are some usability flaws, like missing multi-selection of duplicates. But the duplication detection is very very good, and also quite fast!

I need this. This software removed my tension about disk space occupied by many same photos.

You can also try DuplicateFilesDeleter, I am sure it will remove all your tension and erase all duplicate files.
